very helpful video! I just got a used guitar with a FR (LTD EC-1000, with a 1000SE FR) and I had to use your filing trick... it's working well now. Question though, unrelated to tuning: I noticed in this video your whammy bar flops down and doesn't have resistance, but in some of your other vids with other guitars, the bar will somewhat hold its position when you let go of it. Is that due to the type of Floyd? My bar is floppy and I would prefer that it has some more resistance/retain its position. I've tightened it (both from the top, and I took off the backplate and tried to tighten the Allen key but it's already tight), but it's still floppy. Any tips?

10-52 in E standard! My god! I use 11-48 for C# standard and 10-56 for Bb standard on my 7 string! Hahaha, keep rocking my guy! 💜

Very sexy guitar! I love that color. My Schecter has the same translucent Black Cherry burst finish on the flame top, and it’s absolutely gorgeous too. Furthermore, (and I REALLY didn’t want to say this), but the tones from that Fishman neck pickup sound absolutely fucking killer on the clean channel. Chimey, great clarity, and just the right amount of brightness. Don’t know if I’m quite ready to make the jump to Fishman over my EMG’s just yet though. I’ve been playing EMG’s (couple different versions) for well over a decade now, and I absolutely love them.

Hey man I love your channel I've been watching for quite a few years now. Anyway I'm not very savvy about recording or using software so this question may seem to be worded awkwardly but I think you're going to get what I mean. I know these tones get their true bad ass essence mostly after being layered with a second or even third and fourth guitar. I can figure out simply enough how to make a recording sound that way but my question is if your signal from the guitar is run through two separate Speaker cabinets will that also create that full bodies multi-layerd sound? Is there a way to create that without running your signal through individual cabinets? I guess I'm really just asking if I can get the sound of 2 guitars playing live at the same time without having to play over a pre-recorded track?

Been 6 years since this posted...tabs and internet have come a long way. I totally agree about the tab books,,,they are horrible and loaded with mistakes. Today though you can go on Utube and get a better idea of how to play things. Of course after you filter out the people on here that shouldn't be giving guitar lessons to anyone. I do think the video playthroughs and lessons of today are very helpful,,,,those tab books,,,,not so helpful. But anyway. I will subscribe. I like all your Lamb of God stuff. I just discovered them lol

I've always liked dean guitars. I've got a zx and a dime from hell. Very solid built guitars. But this zero evertune and the floyd rose listed on their site look awesome. Stainless frets and fishman pickups.... looks like I'll have a 3rd dean soon.
